Kyle Henderson Fund
Kyle Henderson was an FFA member who lost his life due to an accident at a soils judging competition. Kyle was a beloved son, friend, and caring person. Kyle left his mark on many FFA members and to honor his life the Rushville FFA has planted a tree, dedicated a plaque, and painted the lion outside the Ag building to remember Kyle and all he has done.
His family and friends then created the Kyle Henderson Scholarship and Fund. Seniors at Rushville Consolidated High School can fill out an application and get the scholarship set up in his name.
Throughout the year in the Ag Building there is a bucket beside the milk machine to help raise money for the scholarship. To help raise more money the FFA also has a sweetheart competition. For the sweetheart competition senior girls choose to participate and then FFA members vote on who they think there sweetheart should be for the year. In the year 2018 we were able to raise a total of $515.68.
